Brilliant news.!!! Does this mean flexispy is now fully compatible with the Samsung Galaxy note 4 running OS 4.4.4 ??? Or would it be best to wait for the updated OS lollipop 5.0.1 to be released in the uk first?? Many thanks Neil

      Hi Neil,

Besides some reported minor glitches in call recording, it looks like you’ll be good to go.

We can’t really say if you should wait for the updated OS or not.

But the longer you wait to install, the more info you’re missing out on ; )

Does this mean you can now root the SM-N900A now?

        Hi,
My Samsung Galaxy note 4 rooted/full mode/Android 5.0.1 is still not recording any calls. What does “glitches” mean ? Is there a workaround or fix for this issue?
        Thanks and regards,
        Savas

First of all Android call recording is only available in our Extreme software. After installation call recording is enabled as is the watchlist to record all calls. Every Android device has four possible input sources. At this time our software only checks one of those four. If it does not work then the recording will fail and nothing will be uploaded.

If it does work then you may only hear static, your side only, their side only or both sides – it depends on the device itself. Because every Android device is different and can have a different configuration the input source that results in best call recording on one device cannot be applied to another Android device because it is different. With the sheer amount of Android devices on the market it is a lot of work to make sure call recording works successful on every single one. FlexiSPY is working on making its software work better for call recording and to increase the chances of success call recording but because each device is different is not possible to always tell the call recording performance without trying our software on the device first and because the performance of call recording (in terms of hearing both sides of the recorded call) cannot be guaranteed some phones will just not be suitable.

When you root the device you can no longer perform software updates.
