Once the phone is rooted, can the backed up files be restored to the phone? Will a restore return any and all apps and associated data that may have been deleted during the root process? Is there any particular backup/restore app you recommend?

    1. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

Yes, once the phone is rooted you can backup and restore without any problems. Rooting doesn’t delete any data from the phone.

Hey,I kinda need help with it i cant transfer the files to my device.Any clue why is it happening?

    1. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

You should be trying to transfer the files to an sd card within the phone. Have you made sure it’s mounted? If so can you tell us what the error message that you get is?

      1. Aidan Yeoh Avatar
        Aidan Yeoh

It keeps saying ”Failed to Move” and even with Astro file manager it says that .What i did was find the file through ”My Files” then found that file then moved it to the sd card and that message pops up

    Hi Kd,

Could you give us a bit more information on the problem that you’re having?

  22. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

    HI Rohit,

Your data should not be erased, however we recommend that you backup your phone anyways – just as good practice.

  23. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

You should’ve put the zip file onto the internal memory of the phone before you reboot.

  24. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

    Hi Akshit,

If you’re inside recovery mode already, and you flashed the root file, afterwards you should have a back button on the screen. Tap that button to go to the main menu, and then tap the reboot option.

After applying from sd card .. what i should do?? Pls tell me

    1. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

Did you flash the zip file? If yes, and it was successful, just restart the phone and it should be rooted 🙂

  26. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

It’s not always possible to un-root – it comes down to the device that you’re wanting to un-root. As far as changing the SD card, that’s not a problem.

Hey Numan, did you flash a custom recovery? If not you’ll need to do that. Then, you’ll have the option to install from an SD card.

  30. FlexiSPYBlog Avatar

Make sure you’ve used the correct SuperSU Zip file doing the rooting process. If not, you won’t get the icon.
