How To Download Captured FlexiSPY Data To Your Computer

NOTICE: All data older than 90 days is automatically deleted.

One of the more common questions we get asked by our customers is how they can go about downloading the data that FlexiSPY has captured to their computers.

We do offer a solution for doing exactly this and we will explain further into the article, but first we’d like to reveal that we are working on a new system for downloading captured data which our customers should find more convenient (to stay updated on this we recommend that you follow us on one of our social media channels).

Now though, let’s look at how to download the captured data for backup purposes.

    Getting Started

To download the captured data, you will first need to specify which data you want, there are two ways for doing this depending on the type of data you are trying to download.

Here are the text steps for downloading your data:

    1. Click the Data tab of your portal.
    2. Click the data tab for the data you want to download (SMS, MMS, IMs etc.)
    3. Click Search

  • How To Downgrade iOS 8.4.1 to iOS 8.4

How To Downgrade iOS 8.4.1 to iOS 8.4

    Update – 8/24/2015

Apple is no longer signing the IPW files, so this guide will no longer work. There is no longer any way to downgrade from iOS 8.4.1 to iOS 8.4

Yesterday apple released iOS 8.4.1, an update that fixes several bugs, includes features improvements for Apple Music, and most importantly, nulls the previous jailbreak solution. Being that the jailbreak is a must for all spy phone software to run on iOS devices, this is problem, and it is unknown when iOS 8.4.1 is going to become jailbreakable.

Luckily if you act fast (before Apple stops signing the required certificates for downgrading) there is a way to downgrade iOS 8.4.1 to the previous iOS 8.4, and then rejailbreak. We’ve written out the steps below in the article for doing so. First though, please read our disclaimer to understand what happens when you downgrade.

What you need to know before you begin:

When you downgrade back to iOs 8.4, the device will be restored to factory settings, so any apps that were once on the phone are going to be deleted. You will then need to rejailbreak back to iOS 8.4. However, Once Apple stops signing the iOS 8.4 downgrade file, downgrading will not be possible and you could be stuck without a jailbreak solution for sometime.

First off – Check the real-time signing status.

Apple won’t be signing the downgrade file forever, before you begin the downgrading process you will need to check to make sure that Apple is still signing it.

Please check through the following link (Green rows with a tick means that the firmware file can still be signed by Apple, and you’re good to go. ) Link here – https://ipsw.me/8.4

    Getting Started –

    • Firstly, put your device into DFU mode. For more on how to do that, read this post.
      • Plug the iOS device that you want to downgrade into a computer.
      • Make sure that the device is turned off completely by holding the sleep/wake button and swiping it off.
      • Hold the power button for 3 seconds.
      • Start holding the Home button without releasing the Sleep/Power button for 10 seconds.
      • Release the power button and continue holding the home button until you get a popup from iTunes that it has detected that your device is in Recovery mode.

    downgrade-ios-8-4-ios-8-4-1-recovery-mode-itunes

    • Click one the Ok button.
    • Then click on the Restore iPhone… (iPad/iPod touch…) button.

    downgrade-ios-8-4-1-ios-8.4

    • Then click on the Restore and Update button to continue.

    downgrade-ios-8-4-1-ios-8-4

    • On the next screen you’ll be given the information about the iOS 8.4 update. Click on the Next button, followed by the Agree button to continue.
    • iTunes will then download the iOS 8.4 software and install it on your device. It should take around 10 minutes.
    • After it is successfully restored to iOS 8.4, you should see the white ‘helo’ screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device, and restore your device from the backup to restore your personal data.

And that’s it, your iOS device should now be successfully downgraded to iOS 8.4 and you can now re-jailbreak and re-install FlexiSPY.

  • How To Stop IM’s From Auto-Updating & How To Downgrade To The Latest Supported Version

How To Stop IM’s From Auto-Updating & How To Downgrade To The Latest Supported Version

IM’s (Facebook messenger, LINE, WhatsAPP, Viber, etc,) by their nature are one of the top things on a phone that people want to be able to spy on, and FlexiSPY is proud to be the spy application that monitors over 13 IM clients, the most in the business.

But there is an inherit problem with all IM applications, and that is that IM’s often auto-update themselves, sometimes up to 2-4 times a week. These frequent updates by the IM’s don’t usually bring some great new feature that tech publications will write up about, the updates are actually the kind that dont bode so well for spy software, encryption updates. These updates render parts of spy software unusable, and it takes time for us to update our software to be compatible with the updated IM again.

    The workaround

By doing what we describe below, you will be inline with full support for FlexiSPY.

#1 ) Turn Off Automatic Updates

Here’s how to turn off automatic updates so that the target device is never notified and never downloads an available update.

    1. Open up google play store on the device (this is the native app for downloading applications to the phone.)
    2. On the Play store, swipe to the right side or tap the toggle button so that you end up in the settings menu.
    3. In the settings section remove the checkmark from “App updates available”
    4. Finally, Tap on “Auto-update apps” and choose “Do not auto-update apps”

Once done, the target phone will no longer receive notifications of available updates, and it will also no longer auto update.

    Functional Limitation

Some apps may cease to function properly if their version is too old. Don’t worry – except for WhatsApp, If this happens nothing breaks. The user would open up their app and an in-app message will tell them that they need to update the app. The message will direct them to the Play store where the user will then tap on the “Update” button.

    Downgrading IM’s

But what if one of the phones IM applications has already been updated to a version that FlexiSPY doesn’t yet support?

The answer in this case is to downgrade the IM app to the version that currently has full support by FlexiSPY.

Here’s how to downgrade the IM app of your choice to one fully supported by FlexiSPY. Note that to check which version you should download of the IM app, checkout our compatibility page, here.

Step 1 – Uninstall the current the version of the app you will want to downgrade.

    – You can do this by doing the following (Go to the settings on your target device -> Find and open application manager -> Open the app you want to uninstall and click “Uninstall”)

Step 2 – Find the earlier version of your app.

Android drawer is a good place to get old versions of your app if you’d like to find the APK’s for yourself. Head there, type in your IM app name and then scroll down to find the version that corresponds with FlexiSPY’s version. (Or directly download the correct APK files from the chart we’ve made below:)

    IM Client Version supported
    BBM 2.5.1.46
    Facebook 46.0.0.26.153
    Facebook Messenger 62.0.0.1.75
    Google Hangouts 7.0.113317058
    LINE 5.11.0
    Skype 6.23.0.702
    Viber 5.8.0.1736
    WeChat 6.0.2.58
    Yahoo Messenger 1.8.8

After downloading the appropriate APKs for your incompatible IM app, turning off the app update notification settings, and turning off auto update, all as described in this article, you should no longer have any issue with FlexiSPY not capturing all of the IM data.

  • How Do I Set My Monitor Number? | What Is An International Format?

Two of our most powerful features, Spycall & Call intercept rely on having the monitor number being setup correctly. But there is sometimes confusion when it comes to how to setup the monitor number, and even what the monitor number actually is. So we’ve written this brief guide which if you follow through to the end, should give you the information needed to get it set up without hassle.

To start our guide, let’s look at what the Monitor Number actually is.

    What is the Monitor Number

The monitor number is the phone number that you want a notification to be sent to when a spycall, call intercept, or SIM change is initiated.

    Uses for the Monitor Number

Take SpyCall for example. With SpyCall you can secretly create a phone call with the target phone and listen in on the phones surroundings. But the requirement of SpyCall is that a monitor number be set, e.g. the phone that you want to use to tap into the target phone. For SpyCall it might be better to use a second phone as the monitor number, because if you use your main phone as the monitor number and need to call the target phone, it’s automatically going to tap in.

The same principle applies with the monitor number for call intercept. In call intercept, you set the monitor number which will receive an sms text when a call from a specified number to the target phone (or any phone at all) takes place.

The last use for the monitor number being set is for SIM change notifications -the monitor number will get a notification when the target phone has changed it’s SIM card.

    Setting the Monitor Number Correctly

Setting the monitor number is region dependent meaning that regardless of your country, you will need to know the country code. For example, in the USA the country code is +1. But if you live inside the USA you would never normally dial +1 before the start of the number. This doesn’t matter with FlexiSPY, and you will still need to use the country code. For example, say that someone would normally dial (868) 345-7567 to reach you. If you are in the USA with country code +1 then then the number would be +18683457567

    Monitor

  • How Hollywood Got GPS Tracking All Wrong

How Hollywood Got GPS Tracking All Wrong

We’ve all seen it before. Camera pans in onto a woman as she types into google “how to track a phones gps location.” She clicks on the first link in the search results. A page appears on her computer screen, telling her to type the phone number into the field and press enter.

A few spins of the loading wheel later and boom! Her husband’s gps location pops up with a red bracket indicator, X marks the spot, and he’s not at the bar!

    trackin-their-gps-location

This is how gps tracking technology is portrayed in just about every soap opera that exists. So it’s no wonder that we believe that it’s so simple to get a person’s gps location.

But how can you really track someone via their phone’s gps?

    Misconceptions

Unless you are law enforcement, you probably don’t have this kind of access to gps tracking technology. right?

While not as easy as typing in their phone number and clicking a big button, there are ways to track someones gps location.

The first thing to know about gps tracking is that you will need to physically install spy software onto the phone that you are wanting to spy on. This doesn’t mean that you will be attaching a big antenna to their phone, it just means that you will need to have their phone in your hand.

bear in mind that iOS devices like an iPhone will need to be jailbroken first before you even think about getting your spy on as Apple keeps things secure for the most part.

If the phone you want to track is an Android phone then you are in luck and no further alterations will need to be made.

Finally, you will also need to be able to get past any lock screen that the phone has..

Which spy software fits your needs?

You will need to do a bit of research on which spy software to purchase, or you can just take our word for it and choose our top pick. Either way, a good jumping point for research would be the website spyphonereview There’s actually a team of testers there that put spy phone software through the reins and then publish their results, unlike other review sites.

After you purchased the spy software of your choosing, you then need to install and activate it onto the persons phone that you want to spy on.

If you chose FlexiSPY then you are in luck and here’s a quick setup guide for getting started.

Will they ever get it right?

Recently hollywood has been paying more attention to the techniques used in actual hacking, like the show Mr. Robot which has been praised for its showing of real spy tools, including an episode where they showed FlexiSPY being used. But this is just one show that is putting in the research time. You can bet that there are sure to be many more distasteful displays of how this type of software works to come.

  • How To Downgrade iOS 8.1.3 To 8.1.2 And Get Your Jailbreak Back

    downgrade-8-1-3-to-8-1-2

    Changelog

    feb 10 2015

    – Apple is no longer signing the IPSW file, so it’s no longer possible to Downgrade iOS 8.1.3 to 8.1.2

    jan 29, 2015

    – Article released.

Apple recently released iOS 8.1.3 to the public and, in the release notes, they thanked the Taig team for helping find several vulnerabilities that were patched in the iOS 8.1.3 release which means that as of right now, if your device is running iOS 8.1.3 it cannot be jailbroken.

    downgrade-ios-8-1-3

Luckily however Apple are still signing the iOS 8.1.2 IPSW file which means you can downgrade the device back to iOS 8.1.2 and jailbreak it again to get the jailbreak back.

As of right now there are no Cydia tweaks that are compatible with iOS 8.1.2 that trick the phone in to thinking the version of iOS installed is the latest version so that it cannot be upgraded so if the device is upgraded you must downgrade first by following this guide to get your jailbreak back.

Disclaimer: FlexiSPY is not responsible for anything that goes wrong from following this guide.  All steps were correct at the time of writing.  You do this at your own risk.

This will DELETE ALL DATA on the device so please backup in iTunes before proceeding.

And here is how to do it.

Find the device number and download the correct IPSW file

You need to make sure you download the correct firmware for your particular device.

To do this simply look on the back of the device as the picture shows to find your model number (our picture is an example).

    correct-ipsw-file
Now that you know the model number you need to download the correct IPSW file from here.

Save the downloaded file to an easy location such as your desktop.

Confirm that the iOS 8.1.2 IPSW file is still signed by Apple

In order to downgrade to iOS 8.1.2 successfully you have to make sure that the iOS 8.1.2 file for your device is still being signed by Apple. Once Apple stop signing the iOS 8.1.2 IPSW file for your device YOU CANNOT DOWNGRADE ANY LONGER!.

If you try to downgrade using an iOS 8.1.2 IPSW file that Apple no longer sign it will not work and CAN DAMAGE THE DEVICE.

To check the current sign status of your iOS 8.1.2 IPSW file click here

    Restore the device

Connect the device to your PC or Mac using the USB cable.

Now that the device is connected to your PC or Mac do the following:

    1. Open iTunes on your PC or Mac
    2. Hold down the Alt key (Mac) or Shift key (PC) and click the Restore button within iTunes when your connected iPhone is displayed.
    3. When asked, browse to the IPSW file you downloaded.
    4. Wait for the device to restore itself.

Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 using a PC

Once the device has restored itself to iOS 8.1.2 you can the jailbreak it again using Taig.

PC users who wish to jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 can watch this video.

Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 using a Mac

For Mac users the steps are different.

First, you must install Windows 7 on to your Mac using VMWare Fusion.  You can learn how to do this by watching the video below.

Once you have installed Windows on to your Mac follow these steps.

Download and install iTunes to your Windows 7 virtual machine

Now that you have installed Windows 7 in to the virtual machine as well as VMWare Tools VMWare Fusion should now boot in to Windows 7 and it will work exactly as Windows 7 would normally work on a PC.

Download and install iTunes to your Windows 7 virtual machine by getting it from here.

Download the jailbreak tool to your Windows 7 virtual machine

You now need to download the Taig PC jailbreaking tool which you can get from here.

Save the download to an easy to find location on your Windows 7 virtual machine, such as the desktop and extract it to its own folder.

Use your Windows 7 Virtual Machine and Taig to jailbreak the device

Simply connect the iOS device to your Mac and make sure it is shown inside your Windows 7 virtual environment.

Once it is shown run the Taig jailbreak you downloaded from above.

Follow the instructions that are shown within the Taig program to jailbreak the connected device.

You should now have downgraded your device from iOS 8.1.3 to 8.1.2 and jailbroken it using a PC or a Mac.

That is why we felt that the Samsung Galaxy S4 deserved a little love and it seems that official Android L firmware for the Samsung Galaxy S4 has been leaked and released and this guide will show you how to install it.

But first, a few things to note.

    Disclaimer:

You perform the steps in this guide at your own risk.  Whilst the guide is correct at the time of writing FlexiSPY is not responsible for any issues or errors that may occur once this firmware has been applied to the phone.

As ever BACKUP YOUR DEVICE FIRST before you attempt to perform this guide.

You perform these steps at your own risk.

Now, a few things to note about our device that was used and the ROM itself.

We used an international Samsung Galaxy S4 whose model number is GT-I9500.

We are not responsible if you try this on any other model other than what we have listed above and it breaks your device.

The ROM itself is official, Android OS is 5.0.1 but there are a few things to be wary of.

    1. The ROM is essentially leaked from the Chinese market version which means that many things in the ROM are Chinese or Chinese related even though the ROM has an English option when you set up the device for the first time.
    2. This means that things like the Download Mode text that is usually in English is now in Chinese.
    3. This ROM can be rooted using Odin which we show below.
    4. This ROM DOES NOT have Google applications installed such as the Play Store or Gmail, you must install them manually (see the end of the guide for how to do this).

And finally, and most importantly, in case you missed it.

FlexiSPY is not officially compatible with Android L (OS 5.0.X) in any way at this time.

This guide is for research purposes only.

Now that we have mentioned all that, for those who cannot wait for Android L to be rolled out for their S4 (GT-I9500) by their carrier in their region can follow these steps to upgrade and try out the latest and greatest version of the Android OS.

Download the Android L ROM file

You need to download the ROM file to your PC if you wish to upgrade your Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) to Android L.

You can download it from here.

Once downloaded save it to an easy to find location such as your desktop.

Once downloaded you will have a zip filed called GT-I9500.

When you extract it to its own folder and then open that folder it should look like this.

    extract-gt-l9500
Inside here you have each component that makes up an Android ROM.

Please make sure you have BACKED UP YOUR DEVICE before you attempt to perform this guide.

    Download the Odin rooting tool

In order to flash the downloaded ROM to your device you must download Odin.  You can get Odin from here.

Once you have downloaded it extract it to its own folder.

Download and install the USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500) to your PC

So that Odin can recognise your Samsung Galaxy S4 when you connect it to your PC please download and install the USB drivers which you can get from here.

Download the file and then run it to install the USB drivers on to your PC.

Now that you have done that, as well as having backed up your device, it is now time to put the device in to Download mode.

    1. Make sure the device is turned off completely
    2. Press and hold the Volume down key, the main button and power
    3. When the device turns on, if it is in download mode, it should look like this

    how-download-mode-should-look
Press the Volume up button to continue it should look like the picture on the right.

The device is now in Download mode so connect it to your PC via the USB cable and run Odin.

Providing you have installed the drivers for the Samsung Galaxy S4 on your PC Odin should look like this.

    how-odin-should-look
As you can see the device has been recognised as you can see Added!!.

Now it is time to add the Android L ROM to Odin.

Click the BL button and browse to the BL part of the Android L ROM and then click Open.

    click-bl
It will now be added to Odin.

Click the AP button and browse to the AP part of the Android L ROM and then click Open.

    click-ap
It will then be added to Odin.  This may take some time so please be patient.

Click the CP button and browse to the CP part of the Android L ROM and then click Open.

    open-cp
It will then be added to Odin.

Click the CSC button and browse to the CSC part of the Android L ROM and then click Open.

    click-csc
This will then be added to Odin.

When you have added all parts Odin should look like this.

    what-odin-should-look-like-after
Click Start to begin the flashing process.

DO NOT REMOVE THE DEVICE FROM YOUR COMPUTER OR RESTART YOUR PC IN ANY WAY

Once it has been done Odin will say PASS and the device will restart itself.

You can now disconnect the device from your computer and wait for it to boot up in to Android L for the first time.  This may take some time so please be patient.

Now that you have upgraded your Samsung Galaxy S4 you need to follow the setup steps that appear on the screen of your device to set the device language, internet settings and such.

Once you have completed the setup wizard on the device the device is then ready to use.

Install a custom recovery and root the device

If you wish to root your Samsung Galaxy S4 running the new Android L OS you need to flash a custom recovery to the device.

You can get it from here.

Download the file to your computer and save it to your desktop.

Now you need to put the device in download mode again as you did before and connect it to your PC and run Odin.

With Odin open click the AP option and browse to the recovery file you just downloaded.

    Odin should look like this.

    what-odin-should-look-like-after
Click Start to flash the custom recovery and then Odin will say PASS when done and the device will restart itself and it should be rooted.

You can test for root by looking for an application shown called SuperSU.  If you see this then the device has been rooted as we show below.

    homescreen

    Install Google Apps

The final thing to do is to install Google applications on to the device as these are not preloaded on to the device due to the version of Android L being for the Chinese market.

You can download it from here.

Save the file to your PC and then extract it to its own folder.

Now that you have downloaded the file to your PC you now need to copy it to the Samsung Galaxy S4.

To do that simply connect the phone to your PC using the USB cable and it should be recognized in Windows.

    connect-phone-to-usb
Browse to an easy to find location on the device, such as the Downloads folder and then copy the file you downloaded to that folder so it should look like this.

    pa-gapps
Now that you have done that disconnect the device from the PC and turn off the device completely.

Hold down the Volume Up, Main button and Power button together until the Samsung logo appears.

When the screen goes black let go of the buttons and, after a few seconds, the phone recovery mode should appear.

With the phone in recovery mode do the following.

    • Tap Install Zip.
    • Tap Choose zip from /sdcard
    • Tap the folder where you copied the file to (such as the Downloads folder).
    • Tap the file.
    • Tap Yes and then wait for it to be applied.
    • Once done restart the device.

The device will restart and update the applications installed and you should now see many Google Apps such as the Play Store.

You can then sign in to the Play Store on the Samsung Galaxy S4 using your Google ID to install additional Google applications such as Gmail which is not installed using the steps above and has to be done using the Play Store alone.

After you have done that your Samsung Galaxy S4 is ready for use with Android L.

  • Jailbreak iOS 8.1.1 With TaiG

     taig-jailbreak-stuck-not-working

iOS 8.1.2 is now out, and FlexiSPY is now compatible with iOS versions up to this current jailbreak, rendering this guide irrelevant. Here’s the guide for the latest jailbreak – https://blog.flexispy.com/jailbreak-ios-8-1-2-taig/

No sooner had iOS 8.1.1 been released did everyone start saying that it could no longer be used for jailbreaking because it killed the original Pangu jailbreak.

But that’s now changed with the release of an untethered iOS 8.1.1 jailbreak termed ‘TaiG’. This is not the same group as Pangu but it does hail from China which is why the entire installer is in Chinese. This is an untethered jailbreak so once it has been jailbroken you do not need to worry about losing the jailbreak unless (or until) Apple fix this when they release iOS 8.2.

Step 1 – Get your iOS 8.1.1 iPhone or iPad ready

The TaiG jailbreak will work for any iPhone 4S, 5. 5S. 5C or iPad (from 2nd Generation onwards) running iOS 8.x – 8.1.1 so it means you can also use this tool to jailbreak iOS 8.1 as well.

Note: Apple stopped signing the iOS 8.1. IPSW file on December 1st which means that if you upgrade to iOS 8.1.1 to perform this jailbreak you CANNOT downgrade back.

Make sure the device is running iOS 8.1.1 by going to Settings > General > About > Version and making sure the version number of iOS installed is 8.1.1.

  • Keep Your iOS 8.1.1 Jailbreak | Two Ways To Do It

We have to raise our hats to the TaiG team for giving us the ability to jailbreak iOS 8.1 so soon. But it could soom come to an end with the upcoming release of iOS 8.2.

Apple, having announced upcoming plans for 8.2 to developers, have apparently fixed the exploits used by TaiG in jailbreaking iOS 8.1.1 which means that, come the release of iOS 8.2 you might not be able to perform a jailbreak.

Here are the steps for keeping your 8.1.1 Jailbreak.

Upgrade to iOS 8.1.1 – Jailbreak it immediately

As soon as Apple releases a new iOS update they immediately stop signing the old version. What that means is that anyone who is not running iOS 8.1.1 right now will skip iOS 8.1.1 and move straight to iOS 8.2 if they restore or update their phone (e.g. from iOS 7.1.2 to 8.1.1). So upgrade to iOS 8.1.1 now and jailbreak it to be safe.

Prevent Future Updates – With No Update

You may also want to look at installing Cydia tweaks such as No Update.

    noupdate

You can install No Update by searching for it in the default list of Cydia sources as it is part of the ModMyi repository.

Once installed on the device it will disable the ability to get software update notifications on the device, however the target device can still be connected to iTunes and either restored or updated to iOS 8.1.1 from there.

  • How To Downgrade From iOS 8.1.1 to iOS 8.1

    downgrade-ios-8-1-1

If the iPhone you want to monitor has been upgraded to iOS 8.1.1 then you’ll need to downgrade back to 8.1 so that you can jailbreak.

Right now there is good news as Apple appears to be signing the iOS 8.1 firmware files (for now) which means that if you want to downgrade, you’ll need to do it now.

    Things to note:

    • You’re only going to be able to downgrade if Apple is signing the iOS 8.1 firmware file.
    • It’s very important that you make a backup of your device to iCloud or using iTunes incase something goes wrong.
    • Apple doesn’t recommend that you downgrade your iOS device, so follow this guide at your own risk.

Download the respective iOS 8.1 firmware file for your device via the links below:

    iOS firmware file for iPhone
    iOS firmware file for iPad
iOS firmware file for iPod touch

    1. Connect the iOS 8.1.1 device to your computer.
    2. Open iTunes and select the device from the corner on the top right, to the left of the iTunes Store button.
    3. Press and hold the Alt/Option key on the Mac or the Shift Key in Windows and click on the Check for Update option, instead of restoring.

The team at iphonehacks.com were able to successfully downgrade from iOS 8.1.1 to iOS 8.1 using this step, but if you’re wanting to go by the book then it’s reccomended that you use the Restore method, -it will be more time consuming-

Disclaimer: If you use the Restore method, then it will wipe the data from your device so make sure you have that backup we discussed before.

    Downgrade iOS 8.1.1 using iTunes

    downgrade-ios-8-1-1-itunes

    1. Select the ipsw file you’ve downloaded from before
    2. iTunes will give you a notice that it’s going to update your iOS device to iOS 8.1 and then the update will be verified with apple.

    ios-8-1-update-itunes

Update to iOS 8.1 using iTunes

    1. Click on Update.
    2. If everything works properly, iTunes will then downgrade your iOS device to iOS 8.1.
    3. After a successful downgrade, the iOS device will restart. A notification saying “Slide to upgrade” should then appear. Enter the passcode, and then wait for the downgrade process to complete. You may be prompted to activate your device.

Done! You should now be successfully downgraded to iOS 8.1.

Let us know if you encountered any errors while following this guide, or if you were succesful!

  • Sending Commands To Your Android Device With FlexiSPY

Sending Commands To Your Android Device With FlexiSPY

Sometimes you might want to change a capturing setting in the FlexiSPY control panel. Maybe you’d like to activate our Ambient Recording feature, or change what app’s you’re monitoring. Whatever the case, you’re given the option to choose the method that FlexiSPY will use to send the changes to the phone.

There are three ways to for sending commands to your Android device using FlexiSPY.

    1. Network (FREE, works on all mobiles)
    2. Push Notification (FREE, but not available on all mobiles)
    3. SMS commands (requires purchase of SMS credits, works on all mobiles)

SMS credits are an optional way to send commands to FlexiSPY. They are used within Control Center in your online account to make sure time sensitive commands are processed immediately (e.g. Send Immediate – to send all data not yet uploaded immediately to your online account.)

The default is push notifications, or network. But these are sometimes slow, and can take an hour to arrive – which is perfectly fine for most users.

SMS commands arrive instantly, and are appropriate for professional use, where timing is important. You can always send SMS commands from your own mobile device, so you don’t ever need to buy SMS credits.

But for those users who value convenience, and the best possible performance, we give them the option to buy credits directly from inside the account portal inside your account tab.

    Let’s take a look at how push notifications work;

Everything takes place inside the Control Center in your online account.

Just browse to the category for the command you wish to set and set the options you want to change.

  • FlexiSPY, mSpy, or Mobile Spy | Which One Is The Best Value For You?

FlexiSPY, mSpy, or Mobile Spy | Which One Is The Best Value For You?

FlexiSPY has long had a reputation for being the best, but ridiculously expensive. That’s only half true however, because we have never been expensive.

Our PREMIUM product is available at $149 for a year, which compares well against mSpy $199 for the same time period.

Of course our competitors and the fake review sites out there went even further and ignored PREMIUM, choosing to only mention the price of EXTREME – a product with features that they did not even have.

We decided it was time to do something about this.

From today, FlexiSPY PREMIUM can be purchased, starting from $68. We have also reduced the entry point for the EXTREME product to $199. This makes us the cheapest, 100% invisible, mobile monitoring product available.

Don’t just take our word for it though, below we’ve compared FlexiSPY to our competitors in three key areas: price, features, and software visibility.

Note: Mobile-Spy is not included in our comparison charts as their app can no longer be considered a true “spy application” as their app can no longer be hidden.

Pricing – new monthly payment options

We have a brand new pricing structure, offering our Premium and EXTREME packages in cheaper monthly options.

    Subscription PeriodsFlexiSPY PremiummSpy PremiumFlexiSPY EXTREME

    3 month$119.99$199

    12 months$199.99$349

As the chart shows, we are now cheaper than mSpy in both 3 month and 12 month subscriptions.

Features – who gives you more?

This is also a big thing to consider: We are now the only smartphone monitoring software that offers both call recording and ambient recording. These two features are not offered by either mSpy or Mobile Spy.

    Call Recording
Number of IM services captured13 for both EXTREME and Premium versions6

We also have support for capturing 13 instant messengers. This is over twice the amount of mSpy.
We have performed extensive tests to prove that FlexiSPY gives you the best instant messaging capturing experience when compared against its competitors and you can read about this in full by clicking here.

Software Visibility – hidden or not hidden?

Lastly, in the wake of what happened to StealthGenie, We’d like to say that FlexiSPY has always offered its customers the ability to hide the visible software icon after installation based upon whether or not it is legal for them to do so.

    FeatureFlexiSPY ExtremeFlexiSPY PremiumMspy Premium
    Visible icon after installation
Ability to hide software icon based upon legal situation

FlexiSPY has always been about respecting the law. That is why FlexiSPY is still the only smartphone monitoring software that can allow you to hide its icon should your countries laws permit this. You can read more about how other smartphone monitoring software are surreptitious compared to FlexiSPY by clicking here.

    Article In Brief –
Overall FlexiSPY beats its competitors in four key areas:
