If it is so simple, then I wouldn’t have asked for help. I have referred XDA Forum already.

Tried steps mentioned in below URL

There are 9 steps mentioned in above article. I successfully did till 7th step. In the 8th step, I couldn’t find the supersu.zip. I did copied that in the mobile sdcard.

      Hello Vishal.

Sadly many root tools may no longer work if the phone OS is updated and the exploit used to root the device is fixed.

Firstly, did you retry Framaroot using the Barahir exploit? Did that work?

Also, there are often several different methods to root certain Android devices.

For the other guide you are following, connect the TARGET device to your PC and copy the SuperSU zip file to the Downloads folder and then, on step 8 the SuperSU zip file to use should be easier to find.

Yes I did. I started in recovery mode.
Step: Press Install Zip —> Choose Zip SDCard
I do not find SuperSU zip file. It says “Can’t Mount sdcard”

          Hello Vishal.

Are you able to put a micro SD in the device, connect it to your PC and then copy the update.zip file to the SD card and then try again? It should then work.

          Thanks for contacting us.

update.zip already there in the SD Device. Do you want to install update.zip by starting device in recovery mode -> Install Zip -> Apply /sdcard/update.zip?

            I followed below steps.

            1. rename existing update.zip to another name.

            2. copy SuperSu.zip to sdcard location where earlier update.zip exists.

            3. rename SuperSu.zip to update.zip.

            4. Start device in recovery mode.

            5. Install Zip

            6. Apply /sdcard/pdate.zip

            I found error as Can’t mount /sdcard/update.zip
            Installation aborted.

Remember Android version is 4.4.2 which I wanted to root.

            Hello Vishal.

The only other thing you can try is to install the zip file over ADB (you do this at your own risk).

You will need the device and a PC.

On your PC install and set up the Android SDK environment so that you have ADB working.

We have an article on how to do this here.

            http://blog.flexispy.com/what-is-adb-how-do-i-use-it/

On the device itself enable USB debugging and then put the device in recovery mode and choose apply update from ADB and connect it to your PC.

Copy update.zip to the platform-tools folder of wherever you installed the Android SDK on your PC.

In the same window hold the shift key and right-click any empty window area and choose Open Command Window Here.

With the command prompt window open it should say something like C:AndroidSDKplatform-tools (where “C:AndroidSDKplatform-tools” is where you installed the Android SDK to).

Type adb install update.zip and then press Enter.

On the connected device the zip file should then be installed as you are requiring.

            Thanks for contacting us.

Here you mentioned update.zip. Do you mean I can install any zip file which I need, for example SuperSu.zip? Let me try. I have Android SDK.

            Hello Vishal.

Yes, this method means you can push any supported zip file to the device over ADB. This can be root packages or kernels for example.
